Is It Permanent?
Clinical trials show that hair follicles successfully destroyed in the active phase cannot regrow because the stem cells of the hair are no longer
there. However, this is not a guarantee to be hair free for life. Shock, extreme stress and hormonal changes may stimulate unproductive follicles to grow hair. This is not to be confused with re-growth of the follicles already destroyed.
Is it Painful?
Clients who have waxing and electrolysis agree that laser treatments are much less painful, in some areas the feeling is that of a rubber band snapping gently against the skin and in other areas it is hardly noticeable.
How Many Treatments Do I Need?
Hair grows in cycles. The laser is only effective on the active growing hair. At any one time there will only be certain hair that are in the active growing phase. For 80-95% reduction everyone will require at least 6-10 treatments if you have a skin type 1-4, and 8-12 treatments with skin type 5 & 6. The treatment is only effective on hair follicles that are in the growth stage. With each treatment you will see a reduction in hair growth.
How Long Do I Wait Between Sessions?
Facial hair typically is treated at 4-6 week intervals, this is usually when new hair growth has begun. Body hair typically is treated every 8-12 weeks.
How Do I know Laser Hair Treatments are Working for Me?
You will see results after the very first treatment. You will have fewer hair and they will be finer and weaker. Your skin will be smoother and your hair pores less visible. The results will become more impressive with each treatment.
I have a Hormonal Problem, will it Work for Me?
Females who are experiencing PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) may experience results! The client can achieve excellent results on the body, but to remain hair free on their face, touch up treatments are required every 3-6 months through life.
